Analytics & Measurement

You cannot improve what you cannot measure.

Numbers you can trust, in front of the people who decide, tied to what actually grows the business. That is the whole job, and it is the foundation the rest of your marketing stands on.

We define the metrics that matter, collect the data properly, attribute results honestly, and put it all where decisions get made, delivered with Inner Data, on the same backbone we run our own growth on.

Measurement is the foundation, not a report

If you cannot measure it, you are spending on instinct.

Data-driven decisions need one thing first: measurement you can trust. Not more dashboards, but the right metrics, collected cleanly, read correctly and acted on.

The layer everything else runs on

Media needs clean signals to optimize, CRM needs trustworthy data to personalize, models need good data to learn, and leadership needs one honest scorecard to decide. It is not a service bolted on at the end.

The metric cockpit

A clear hierarchy from the North Star metric down to the operational KPIs each team needs, so everyone steers by the same dashboard. Fewer, better metrics tied to business outcomes, not a hundred vanity numbers.

From numbers to decisions

Measurement only pays when it changes a decision, so we build the cockpit your leaders actually use, connect it to the actions it should trigger, and keep improving it.

We know it works because we run our own growth on the exact same backbone, connected to Data Science, Cloud, CRM & HVA and the media of Campaign Management. Any figures we share are estimates and benchmarks, not guarantees.

Strategy and clean collection

Bad data in, bad decisions out.

Measuring everything is the same as measuring nothing. We choose what is worth measuring, then collect it so it can be trusted.

Measurement strategy

A measurement plan, what to track, how and why, agreed before a single tag is fired, with fewer, better metrics tied to business outcomes.

Tagging & data collection

A documented data layer and a clean Google Tag Manager setup, with Consent Mode and privacy-aware collection configured toward your requirements, so events mean what they say and stay defensible.

Server-side measurement

The tags in the browser are the tip. The reliable data lives on the server.

More complete data

Recover the loss
  • Around 15 to 30% of events recovered by moving collection server-side (Inner Data benchmark)
  • Better attribution and smarter optimization

Durable as signals fragment

On your cloud
  • Measurement on infrastructure you control
  • It does not decay every time a browser tightens the rules

Privacy on your terms

You own it
  • Consent and data handling governed by you
  • Built with our Cloud Services practice

As browsers block more tracking, browser-only collection quietly loses data. Moving it server-side recovers it and keeps it durable.

Attribution, dashboards and governance

What actually caused the result, answered with method.

Measurement & attribution

Models that reflect the real customer journey across channels, incrementality through tests and holdouts, and marketing mix modeling for the whole-business view, not whichever touch happened to be last.

Dashboarding & reporting

Clear, role-based views in Data Studio, Looker or Power BI, built around decisions not data dumps, with automated reporting and one source of truth everyone reads the same way.

Data quality & governance

Checks that catch broken tracking before it reaches a decision, shared definitions and ownership, in a quality system certified to ISO 9001 and secured to ISO 27001.

From measurement to decision. We read the numbers with you, turn them into clear recommendations, wire measurement to the actions it should trigger, and run it as a cycle, measure, decide, act, learn. That habit, repeated, is what data-driven actually means.

Why Wise Pirates for analytics & measurement

Few make measurement the trustworthy core decisions actually run on.

Business results, always

Measurement judged on the decisions and growth it drives, not the number of charts.

We run our own growth on it

The same measurement backbone powers our media, CRM, data science and cloud work, so you get a discipline proven in practice, not in theory.

Frequently asked questions

The questions we hear most.

What is analytics and measurement, and why is it the core of everything?
Analytics and measurement is the discipline of deciding what to measure, collecting it cleanly, reading it correctly and acting on it. It is the core because every decision, in media, CRM, product or strategy, rests on whether you can trust the numbers underneath it. A dashboard is the visible tip; the value is the trustworthy foundation and the decisions it enables.
Where do you start on a measurement project?
We start with two questions: what decisions do you need to make, and can you trust the data you have today? From there we fix the data collection, define the metrics that matter, build the cockpit and dashboards, and connect them to decisions. You see value from the early fixes, not only at the end.
What is a metric cockpit or measurement framework?
It is a clear hierarchy of the metrics that matter, from a single North Star metric down to the operational KPIs each team needs. It stops companies from drowning in vanity numbers and gives everyone one dashboard to steer by. We define it around your business outcomes before any tracking is built, so you measure what matters, not everything.
What is the difference between attribution and marketing mix modeling?
Attribution assigns credit across the touchpoints in a customer's journey, useful for optimizing channels day to day. Marketing mix modeling (MMM) works at the whole-business level to estimate what really drives results, and it is more resilient to privacy and signal loss. They answer different questions, so we often use both, alongside incrementality tests that estimate true lift.
What is server-side tagging and why does it matter?
Server-side tagging collects measurement data on infrastructure you control rather than only in the browser. It gives more durable and reliable data as browser signals fragment, and can recover around 15 to 30% of events that client-side collection loses (an Inner Data benchmark), which means better attribution and smarter optimization. We build it on your cloud through our Cloud Services practice, so your measurement does not quietly decay as tracking gets harder.
How do you keep measurement compliant?
By building consent and privacy in from the start, with Consent Mode and privacy-aware collection configured toward your own requirements. You own compliance; we make the setup clean and defensible, backed by our ISO 27001 certification. Good measurement and good privacy are not opposites when the collection is designed properly.
Which analytics and dashboard tools do you work with?
The modern, Google-centric stack most of all: GA4, Google Tag Manager, server-side tagging, BigQuery, and Data Studio or Looker for dashboards, plus Power BI where the enterprise runs on it and the reporting tools you already use. We are practical, not dogmatic: the goal is trustworthy data and dashboards people actually open, not a specific logo.
How do you turn measurement into decisions?
By treating the dashboard as the start, not the finish. We read the numbers with you, turn them into clear recommendations, and wire measurement to the actions it should trigger in media, CRM and operations. Then we run it as a cycle, measure, decide, act, learn, so the decisions get better over time.
