The senior layer that rides beside your team, and answers for its advice

Strong internal teams still benefit from an outside senior perspective. Wise Sidecar works alongside teams that own their digital in-house, helping them prioritise, challenge assumptions and unblock decisions as the context changes.

In short

What it is, in one minute.

The rest of this page goes deep. If you read only one part, read this: Wise Sidecar puts a senior pair beside your team, every week, to point you at the right moves and prove the value of the advice, without taking the wheel.

What it does

A senior second opinion, every week

A senior duo across data, media, GEO and automation reads your signals, sets the priorities, challenges what you are missing and unblocks what is stuck, continuously, not once a year.

Why it matters

Advice that answers for itself

Reports get filed and forgotten. We log every recommendation before the results and publish the adoption rate, so the advice is accountable and the knowledge stays with you.

What you get

Direction, not just activity

A living roadmap reviewed monthly, new bets tested before they scale, blockers cleared with a contracted response time, and a Logbook that is yours to keep.

In one line: senior guidance that stays involved from recommendation to outcome.

Why now

Good teams move faster with the right challenge beside them.

The question is no longer "who executes for us?" It is "who sees what we are not seeing, every month, and answers for what they recommend?"

It is built for teams that keep their digital in-house, fully or partly, and want a senior challenge beside them, not another agency to hand the work to.

Classic consultancy leaves

It diagnoses, hands over the report and goes. The knowledge leaves with the consultant, and no one stays accountable for what was recommended.

Execution without direction

Agencies executing with no strategic context produce activity, not progress. There is no one looking at the whole and prioritizing.

Headcount does not stretch

Hiring seniors for every discipline (data, media, GEO, automation) does not fit the budget or the timeline, and the market moves faster than recruitment.

The market does not wait

AI, privacy and platforms change monthly (Meta changed attribution twice in eight weeks in 2026). Reading the signals in time has become a full-time job.

The principle

Beside you. Not ahead, not behind.

Not consultancy that delivers and leaves. Not body-shopping. It is governed advisory: a senior duo alongside your team, with the responsibility that stays after the advice.

consultancy stops, report left behind YOUR TEAM WISE SIDECAR
The consultancy diagnoses, drops the report and stops. The Sidecar stays in the car the whole way, beside your team through every turn, advising as the road changes. The wheel is always yours.

The difference that is ours: any senior gives advice. Wise Sidecar logs it before the results, measures the adoption rate and reviews the value of decisions each quarter. Advice with the honesty of someone who stays.

The engagement model

Three modes, one principle: we stay in the car.

Strategy changes on contact with execution, which is why the advice has to be continuous, not a one-off deliverable.

01 · The entry

Maturity Assessment

A focused, benchmarked read of your digital and AI maturity, with a prioritized roadmap and a business case. Weeks, not months, and it creates value at once by stopping waste.

02 · The centre

The Side Car

Always-on advisory through implementation: an embedded senior advisor, a shared backlog, a working rhythm, and on call when a pitch, a budget or a launch cannot wait.

03 · When you want it

We run it for you

Execution with us when the client wants it: a full-stack crew operates the work, or the whole marketing department. Contracted separately; the Side Car never requires it.

Who drives: the wheel is always the client's, we make sure it turns at the right corners. Advice you file changes nothing; advice that rides with you changes the business.

Sidecar First · the connective tissue

A service, and the door to the whole system.

Our proposition is a service plus proprietary technology, working as one. In the service you get the best of our people, our experience and the leading best practices. And where a field is new and moving fast, we bring proprietary frameworks of our own. The Sidecar is the layer that decides which of them to switch on. It is built first for teams that own their digital in-house, fully or partly, our tier-1 fit.

The Sidecar sets the course

People, experience, best practice
  • The senior duo is the face; behind it, 120 pirates across data, media, SEO and GEO, automation and engineering
  • It looks at the whole and decides what makes sense to switch on, and what does not
  • Every "activate" or "do not activate" call is logged, dated and reviewed, like any other

The frameworks give the instruments

Proprietary technology, when the course asks for it
  • Wise GEO Compass when AI visibility matters, Wise BI Foundry when the numbers diverge, Agentic CM when autonomy reaches campaigns
  • Each enters with its own specs, templates and measurement; the Sidecar orchestrates, it does not duplicate
  • Every call is recorded and reviewed, so the whole system compounds in the client

Sidecar gives you one senior point of view across the Wise Pirates ecosystem. When a problem needs deeper expertise, we bring in the right specialists, framework or technology, without changing the operating model. Every quarter of Sidecar makes the next one more valuable, because the context, the decisions and the learnings are recorded.

The framework

Five layers, one Logbook.

The first four layers are the work: see, steer, challenge, unblock. The fifth is what makes it auditable. No recommendation exists outside the Logbook.

Two words people mix up. The Sidecar is the whole model, the senior layer beside you. The Logbook is one of its layers, the fifth, the proprietary record that makes the advice accountable.

Continuous watch: your data and performance, market signals and competitive benchmark.

02
Heading

The course

Living priorities and investment calls on a 3 to 6 month roadmap, reviewed monthly.

03
Boarding

The challenge

The levers you are not using yet, framed as testable hypotheses, not hunches.

04
Salvage

The unblock

Senior troubleshooting and blocker removal, with a contracted response time.

Proprietary
05
Logbook

The record

Every recommendation dated and measured, with an adoption rate and a quarterly review.

Layers 01–04 · the work

See, steer, challenge, unblock.

01 · Lookout · see first

A weekly read of what moved in your data and in the market, and what needs action, in half a page, not a report. Performance and investment read with priority, plus a 3 to 6 month anticipation of platform, regulation and technology shifts.Output · the weekly Signal Read, short, dated, with the "and therefore" made explicit

02 · Heading · the course

The three to five priorities of the quarter with their rationale, and the courage to take things off the list when the context changes. A monthly steering of decisions, not status, and clear direction to whoever executes.Output · the living roadmap and the steering decisions, dated and versioned in the Logbook

03 · Boarding · the challenge

The question the internal team has no time to ask: which levers exist that no one is using? Each challenge is framed as a testable hypothesis, with a quarterly Challenge Sprint pre-registered in the Logbook before any result.Output · the Challenge Sprint, hypotheses pre-registered, tested and verdicted

04 · Salvage · the unblock

Broken tracking, a bleeding campaign, a migration going wrong: the senior duo diagnoses and unblocks, or brings in whoever can from the crew, with a first-response time set in the contract. Behind the duo are 120 pirates across every discipline.Output · blockers resolved with a cause note, and the time-to-unblock measured

The proprietary layer · the Logbook

Advice that signs its name.

This is the fifth layer of the Sidecar, not a separate product: an immutable ledger of every recommendation, the adoption rate that measures us, and a quarterly review of what the advice was worth. Written before the results, never rewritten after them.

Recommendation ledger

The immutable record

Every recommendation with its date, context, rationale, owner and state. Written before the results, and never rewritten after them. It is the client's, and it stays with the client.

Adoption rate

The KPI that measures us

What share of what we recommend gets adopted, and what happened to it. A low rate is a steering conversation: either we advised badly, or execution capacity is missing. Both have a remedy.

Decision Value Review

Quarterly

Measurable recommendations reviewed against what happened; the rest reviewed by the decision they enabled. Learning recorded, without rewriting history.

The house DNA: pre-registration, an immutable record and frozen definitions, the same discipline as the Ship's Log in Agentic CM and the Ruler in Wise BI Foundry. We do not sell opinions. We sell dated, measured, reviewed recommendations, and the adoption rate is public to the client.

In practice

What Sidecar looks like in practice.

One recommendation, from the reading to the outcome, the way it lands in the Logbook. Illustrative, and typical of how the model works.

The situation

An internal performance team is scaling across four markets, but acquisition costs are rising.

What we saw

The issue was not campaign execution. Budget allocation and measurement were pulling in different directions.

Recommendation logged

Pause expansion in Market C, fix the attribution gap, and move 15% of spend into the two highest-incrementality markets.

Decision

Adapted by the client.

120 days later
-17%CAC
+11%qualified revenue
Logged in the Sidecar: recommendation → decision → outcome → learning.

The side effect: the internal team learns faster, absorbing market best practices and innovations at roughly twice the pace.

Illustrative example. Baselines are measured per client and objectives fixed per instance.

The system

Continuous advice needs both a regular cadence and a clear record.

The cadence is the rituals; the record is the Logbook. Cadence without a record is expensive conversation. A record without cadence is a late audit. The value is the whole system, as in every framework of the house.

WEEKLYSignal ReadMONTHLYSteeringQUARTERLYForesight + ChallengeCONTINUOUSSalvage
Weekly Signal Read, monthly Steering, quarterly Foresight and Challenge, continuous Salvage. The intensity is contracted in hours per month; the rituals are never skipped. Missing a ritual is logged, we apply to ourselves the rules we apply to clients' data.

The rituals are fixed, the intensity is variable. The cadence is what separates continuous advice from friendly availability.

The entry · Maturity Assessment

You cannot fix what you never measured honestly.

This is the door into the Sidecar, in most cases, not a generic audit. Its job is to see whether the Sidecar fits, and in which areas, with a benchmarked read across six dimensions, scored against the sector and best practice. We also run a broader digital and technology maturity assessment when the goal is an overall evolution roadmap; this one is narrower and Sidecar-focused.

Strategy &RoadmapOperatingModelData & AITechnology &PlatformsPeople &CultureGovernance& Risk
Six dimensions: Strategy and Roadmap, Operating Model, Data and AI, Technology and Platforms, People and Culture, Governance and Risk. The output is a maturity radar, a benchmark, and a 90 day plan with a business case per move, a sequenced plan, not a score to frame.
You, today Sector benchmark

Its role in the framework: the assessment is the door into the Sidecar. It gives the baseline for Lookout, informs the fit and sequences quick wins first, to fund and prove the journey. The maturity gap is the growth gap.

Sidecar fit

When it serves, and when we do not sell it.

Saying "it does not fit" at the entry is worth more than a contract that disappoints. The fit decides, not the pipeline.

It serves when

  • You own your digital in-house, fully or partly, and have a team to receive direction. This is who the Sidecar is built for.
  • Digital weighs on the business, and leadership wants a continuous senior second opinion, not a project with an end.
  • There is appetite to be challenged.

It does not serve when

  • What you want is a report to validate decisions already made.
  • You expect full-time presence. That is recruitment, not a Sidecar.

No in-house execution capacity yet? We do not walk away. We start with the Wise implementation model, build and enable your team, and hand over into the Sidecar as your in-house capability grows.

The standard entry is the Maturity Assessment: it gives the baseline, the business case and an informed fit before any cadence contract. Intensity is contracted in hours per month and reviewed each quarter; the rituals hold at any intensity.

Why it is unique

What makes Sidecar different is that every recommendation is recorded and reviewed.

Most advisory models focus on the quality of the advice. Sidecar adds another layer: a visible record of what was recommended, what was adopted and what happened next.

What you get

Before and after, in concrete.

No round promises: baselines are measured per client and objectives are fixed per instance, the rule of every framework of the house.

Priorities

before → after

An annual plan that ages by February, becomes a living roadmap, reviewed every month.

New levers

before → after

Discovered when a competitor is already using them, becomes a quarterly Challenge Sprint of pre-registered hypotheses.

Technical blockers

before → after

Days of emails and blame, become a measured time-to-unblock with a full-stack crew behind it.

The value of the advice

before → after

A feeling at year end, becomes an adoption rate and a quarterly Decision Value Review.

And the knowledge that used to sit in the head of the consultant who left, now lives in the Logbook. The knowledge stays with the client.

Application

The first 30 days, no ceremony.

Week 1

Kickoff and access

Analytics, platforms and business context, plus the cadence contract signed: intensity, rituals and the response-time SLA.

Week 2

Baseline read

The real state of the data, the performance and the priorities, said without excessive diplomacy.

Week 3

First steering

The quarter's priorities, the initial roadmap, and the first recommendations logged.

FAQ

Wise Sidecar, answered.

What is Wise Sidecar?
It is Wise Pirates' proprietary model for continuous senior advisory that rides beside your team: direction, challenge and unblock, with every recommendation logged and measured. It is not classic consultancy that diagnoses, delivers a report and leaves, and it is not body-shopping. It is a senior duo, cross-disciplinary across digital, contracted in hours per month, with a Logbook where each recommendation is dated, attributed and measured.
How is it different from a consultancy or a fractional executive?
Consultancies sell projects: they study, hand over slides and leave. Fractional CMO or CTO models sell one senior person. Agencies sell execution with strategy in the pitch. None of them publish the adoption rate of their own recommendations. Wise Sidecar is continuous, governed advisory: cross-disciplinary, independent from execution, and auditable, because the Logbook makes every recommendation and its adoption visible to the client.
Does the Sidecar execute the work?
No. The Sidecar gives direction, challenge and unblock, it does not replace the client's team or the hands that execute. Execution, when the client wants it with us, is contracted separately as a full-stack crew or even the whole marketing department. The wheel is always the client's; we make sure it turns at the right corners.
What is the Logbook?
The proprietary fifth layer: an immutable ledger of every recommendation with its date, rationale, owner and state (adopted, adapted, declined or pending), written before the results and never rewritten after them; the adoption rate, the KPI that measures us; and a quarterly Decision Value Review. It is the client's, and it stays with the client.
What is the adoption rate, and why publish it?
The percentage of what we recommend that the client actually adopts, and what then happened to it. We make it visible on purpose. A low rate is a steering conversation, not a number to hide: either we recommended badly, or execution capacity is missing, and both have a remedy. Publishing it is our skin in the game.
What are the five layers of the framework?
Lookout is continuous watch (data, signals, benchmark). Heading is the course (living priorities, a 3 to 6 month roadmap reviewed monthly). Boarding is the challenge (new levers as testable hypotheses). Salvage is the unblock (senior troubleshooting with a contracted response time). Logbook is the proprietary log. The first four are the work; the fifth makes it auditable, and no recommendation exists outside it.
How do we start, and what is the commitment?
The standard entry is the Maturity Assessment: a benchmarked, six-dimension read of your digital and AI maturity, with a prioritized 90 day plan and a business case per move, in weeks not months. Intensity is contracted in hours per month and reviewed each quarter; the rituals hold at any intensity. The first 30 days are kickoff and access, a baseline read, the first steering, then a cruise regime.
When is the Sidecar not a fit?
When there is no one to execute (execution has to be solved first, the Sidecar does not replace hands), when what you want is a report to validate decisions already made, or when you expect full-time presence (that is recruitment, not a Sidecar). Saying it does not fit at the entry is worth more than a contract that disappoints.
